Awards Banquet

Updated: May 5, 2008
The year end banquet will be held at the Madison Avenue Pub on Tuesday, May 13th. Missing a great meal and a blind draw just doesn't make any sense to me. Hope to see everyone there.

Madigan's (downstairs bar) opens at 6pm.
Dinner: 6:30-8pm
Awards: 7:30-8pm
Blind Draw: 8pm-end

Even if you don't feel like you can win, come on down and watch. You'll get to see some great darts, and if there's time and interest, there will be a small blind draw just to wind the day down.

Darts, a sport or a game?

For those of you that haven't noticed already, the National Darts Federation of Canada is petitioning the federal government to evaluate whether darts is a sport or game of skill. Recognition of being a sport would allow for funding at the federal level.
You can join the petition on-line by visting the NDFC website at www.ndfc.ca.
